I enjoy education, because I believe through education we can make the world a more efficient, effective, and knowledgeable place to live. The world as a whole has grown rapidly. As fast as we are moving towards a bigger and brighter future for us all, we are also largely missing the point in other areas. We can now grow large amounts of crops, but many people die of starvation daily. We have the knowledge of medicine, but many people die of health related issues that we already have a cure for. We have the tools to educate the masses, but for many, education isn't a priority when just surviving is. In all our progress we have seemed to have lost the basic notion of caring for one another. Don't get me wrong, everyone can be cared for, if they can afford it.
The world is now finally starting to wake up and realize the imbalance of profit versus caring for another human being. I see the change happening all around me. I'm excited to be a part of this change. We've had the Industrial Age and the Information Age, now lets work towards an era where we work towards bettering our own home, earth! Lets work towards a Knowledgeable Age! Now we have the information. We know how business works now. We know just how many people will fail for the few to succeed now. We have the information, now what will we choose to do with it?
