Our youth is our future.

I enjoy education, because I believe through education we can make the world a more efficient, effective, and knowledgeable place to live. The world as a whole has grown rapidly. As fast as we are moving towards a bigger and brighter future for us all, we are also largely missing the point in other areas. We can now grow large amounts of crops, but many people die of starvation daily. We have the knowledge of medicine, but many people die of health related issues that we already have a cure for. We have the tools to educate the masses, but for many, education isn't a priority when just surviving is. In all our progress we have seemed to have lost the basic notion of caring for one another. Don't get me wrong, everyone can be cared for, if they can afford it.

The world is now finally starting to wake up and realize the imbalance of profit versus caring for another human being. I see the change happening all around me. I'm excited to be a part of this change. We've had the Industrial Age and the Information Age, now lets work towards an era where we work towards bettering our own home, earth! Lets work towards a Knowledgeable Age! Now we have the information. We know how business works now. We know just how many people will fail for the few to succeed now. We have the information, now what will we choose to do with it?

  1. You definitely got my attention. Looking forward for more to come. Education is very important. Teachers have a big shoes to fill. Not only are they responsible for education but also they should all be aware of symptoms and signs for the numerous learning disabilities. And behavioral disorders.
They all used to be labeled as ADHD. There are several disorders that resemble ADHD that medicine just is not going to be enough.
Autism is on the rise 1 of 100 kids are being diagnosed with it. Aspersers’ Syndrome (High functioning autism) is becoming more noticed in the recent years. You cant tell just by looking at them. It deals more with lack of social skills, limited ability to have a conversation or shared interest of others. They have learning difficulties, poor communication skills, and poor motor skills and etc.
I think every teacher should have the opportunity to be educated as much as possible to help parents to recognize any potential problems. They do spend half a day with our children. Doctors rely on teachers observations and sends several test for them to fill out, to help finding the right diagnosis.
